Ive been gettin your messages asking me to make a personal post. Well u asked for it.
Im a 23 year old college sophomore, studying marketing at Emporia State University. but i wasnt always so settled down. My life has been a whirlwind of crime, sex, and religion.
I am a 'friend' or as we are normally called; quaker. That is i believe in peace and tolerance of all peoples and religions. I held fast to my religion all through high school. Rejecting alcohol, tobacco, weed, and sex was a daily routine, back then my only vices were masterbation and speed. Going fast makes my blood sing the sweetest tunes and gives me a moment of transcendent bliss.
As the curtain was falling on those days of innocence a new chapter in my life was stirring. I had ventured into a new world. A place I was unfamiliar with. College.
I left home, if you could call it that. An overbearing father, an overweight mother, and an under appreciated girlfriend. I wanted to tramp out on my own, but i was sorely unprepared for what awaited me. I had dreams, I was going to become a singer or an actor. My name would have been in the lights, but according to a certain professor I was "horrid" and "had no place on stage".
I barely escaped my fall semester. Spring came with the blood of the lamb. In march a friend and classmate died, killed in a car crash. That same day my girlfriend dumped me, something she had been planning for awhile i think. As i was trying to cope with the losses I got a phone call from home. My mentor and scoutmaster had shot himself in the face after his wife filled for divorce. The downward spiral had begun.
I needed somewhere to turn, something that was constant at least, something that wouldnt leave me. That night I went to my first party with the intent of drinking, not being the dd. After bonging my first beer and some vodka-n-pepsi I was feeling good. The party was aight and i got nice and tanked, towards the end I started macin on this girl. She was all up on me, and then asked me to take her home....

This is an open letter to the people of Iraq from me; Dragon S5 an American Citizen, a college student, and a quaker.
We are not occupying your country. Please understand that there is a June 30th 2004 deadline for transfer of power. Why do you fight us as if we are conquering your people? Please understand that this post-war Iraq is not about [u]Oil[/u] for us. In America we are moving more towards what is called a hybrid vehicle. They will be every where in the next few years, greatly reducing what oil we purchase from OPEC and consequently the little we purchase from Iraq.
Instead of fighting against America, El Salvador, Spain, Italy, Australia, Britain and the rest of our coalition you would greatly help your great nation if you would help us secure your country and finish your infrastructure. This would allow for a full transfer of power back into the hands of the Iraqi people. Where the power belongs.
There was a man in America named Martin Luther King Jr. When he felt his people (black) were being treated unfairly he staged non-violent protest. If you the people of Iraq are not happy with what is happening then protest without using violence. By attacking and killing people and soldiers you continue to paint iraqis and arabic peoples as violent and non-understanding. This does not just hurt the people of one town, one country, but the whole of the arabic race.
[b]Who has Evil Intentions?[/b] Why does Al-Sadr hate America? The fact is that the Shitte peoples are now free from the oppression of Saddam, but sadr wishes for you to think and act like the Sunni. Why is this? the truth is that Sadr has a warrant out for his arrest this warrant was not issued by America, but by an Iraqi judge. Not for stealing food and giving it to the poor, nor for tax evasion, not even for numerous speeding tickets; but for [b]MURDER[/b]. Sadr has been named in the murder of a fellow cleric and if he was innocent he would have turned himself in and let the new Iraqi justice system put him on trial.
Why would Sadr murder a fellow shitte cleric? for power thats why. Sadr proably thinks of himself as the next Saddam. This is not the action of a man who cares about his people, but a greedy man who cares of nothing but himself. MURDER goes against all religions and Sadr at least needs to be put on trial, and if convicted subject to the consequnces as your law dictates.
Finally people of Iraq please think for yourselves. It seems through the media that you follow the most radical guy around that wants you to attack someone, and professes that they are infidels and evil, when in reality those are the people that have [b]EVIL INTENTIONS[/b]. I can tell you that I am an American and that I have no evil intentions towards you, the newly independent people of Iraq. I wish you much luck in your new democracy. Please stop this meaningless violence and rise up as the Great People and Democracy of Iraq.
